Perspectives on Aging
"Let's start with the baby boom. That huge bulge in the US population born between 1946-1964 - some 75 million people - has almost from its beginning shaped our social and economic agendas. Its leading edge is now in its early to mid-50s, and it is still shaping the agenda. What else could account for the popularity of Rogaine and Viagra? Speculate, if you will, on what else we will see in the years ahead as the baby boomers age - particularly since the generation's theme song is Bob Dylan's 'Forever Young,' as it resists aging and demands products and services that will do much more than allow it to age gracefully."
