NEW! More Options for Advanced Practice Nursing

The UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing is now offering pathways to advanced practice nursing via its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.

The School decided to offer both MSN and DNP advanced practice pathways following careful consideration by faculty and administration and after listening to feedback from nurses interested in furthering their education. Providing multiple educational routes to advanced practice nursing offers nurses more options for career development while helping to meet the nursing workforce needs of North Carolina.

The new application deadline for MSN or DNP fall 2015 matriculation is December 17, 2014.

The GRE Requirement has been suspended for the next five years. You no longer need to take the GRE to apply to a graduate program in the School of Nursing – read more about it!
