This workshop explores the role of the nurse in promoting successful breastfeeding. Course content focuses on benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding techniques, and solutions to common problems.

    At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss the benefits of breastfeeding for the infant and the mother.
  • Describe breastfeeding techniques.
  • Review common problems in breastfeeding and possible solutions.
