All graduates of the UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing are automatically members of the SON Alumni Association, which carries out a variety of initiatives throughout the year.
Each year, recipients are selected for the annual Alumna/Alumnus of the Year Award, Carrington Award for Outstanding Community Service, GOLD (Graduate of the Last Decade Award), and Honorary Alumna/us of the Year Award.
