March 5-6: Celebrating 25 years of Doctoral Education
As we celebrate 25 years of doctoral education and the launch of the new DNP program, we do not want to do it without you. What you have done with your career is of great importance in understanding how an education at the UNC School of Nursing leads to great accomplishments. Whether you are a current DNP or PhD student or doctoral alum, your stories play an integral role in our history, and sharing with us your career achievements give us the opportunity to applaud and appreciate you and fully understand how a UNC doctoral education leads to great things.
We need your three favorite career accomplishments to share with others. These stories can range from job promotions to research achievements to progress in your doctoral studies. We want to know about you. Please send these endeavors to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 28th so that your information can be shared with others in a commemorative booklet to be shared with all doctoral alumni and reunion attendees.
Also remember to join us for two days of celebration March 5-6. March 5 events begin at 5:30 pm at the School of Nursing with the Doctoral Education Suite Ribbon Cutting ceremony, DNP inauguration and PhD reunion. March 6 is a day filled with excellent speakers at the symposium “Calling Forth the Courage: Making a Difference in Health and Health Care.” To RSVP for these events please contact Katisha Paige at Katisha_Paige@unc.edu or call 919-966-4619.
