Associate Professor and Macy Scholar, Dr. Meg Zomorodi, attended a Harvard Macy Institute continuing education conference, A Systems Approach to Assessment in Health Professions Education. There, she led journal and project group discussions and gave the talk “Using a Systems Approach to Build Interprofessional Collaborations.”

Alderman, Durham Present Interprofessional Work at IMSH

This week, Assistant Professor Jennifer Alderman and Professor Carol Durham, EdD, RN, ANEF, FAAN attended the Society for Simulation in Healthcare‘s annual International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare in Orlando. They presented their work titled The Heart of the Matter: Improving Communication and Collaboration Through Interprofessional Education.

Sincere congratulations to Carol, who served on a thought-leaders in simulation panel. She also won a Presidential Citation from the President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare for her work in advancing simulation in interprofessional education. Many thanks to these women for representing the School of Nursing!
