The School of Nursing will hold the 2017 Spring Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, May 13th at 5:30 pm in the Dean E. Smith Center.  Our commencement speaker will be Lt. General (ret.) Patricia Horoho.  A copy of our 2017 Commencement Invitation may be found here.

The University’s Spring Commencement is planned for Sunday, May 14th at 9:00 am in Kenan Stadium.

Please arrive at Concourse C of the Smith Center no later than 4:45 PM!  Please arrive in regalia with hood ON, and please do not bring purses, bags, gifts, etc. to the ceremony.

Full regalia is required!  Please see the Student Stores for more information (http://unc.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/BNCBAnnouncementsView?catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=88196.  Adornment on caps is NOT permitted.  Please wear cool, but professional attire under gowns.  No casual flip flops and conservative show height please.

Please note that graduation rehearsals will be virtual in Fox Auditorium.  Please view the power point and final reminder for more information.

Logistics and Parking:

Parking will be available in the S11 lot and all lots around the Smith Center.  Disability parking is available immediatley across the street from the Smith Center.  There will be golf carts available to transport guests to Entrance A.  Guests may not enter the Smith Center until the ceremony before our concludes (~5 PM).

Post-Graduation Employment Surveys:

Each year, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and the NC General Assembly require that the School of Nursing submits information regarding the employment commitments of our students following graduation.  This information is also needed for the School of Nursing to obtain state and federal monies for student aid.  To assist the School in providing this information to these external agencies, please complete the surveys below.  Please note: your data will be combined with others in your class to create a composite; you will not be identifiable to these agencies.
