Curriculum

Students enrolled in the Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) Health Care Systems (HCS) complete the following:

MSN Professional Core (6 credit hours)

MSN Research Core (9-11 credit hours)

HCS Specialty Courses (15-18 credit hours)

Supporting Coursework (3-6 credit hours)

Other Required Courses (4 credit hours)

Full-time students usually complete the 40-credit hour program in 5 semesters. Part-time students typically complete the program in 3-5 years. Upon completion of the program and with the requisite experience, graduates may be eligible to sit for appropriate certification examinations related to their HCS area of focus.

Faculty advisors work with individual students to identify appropriate courses to enhance the student's ability in a chosen area.
