Step Three: Completing Lower Division Requirements
You may complete lower division courses at UNC at Chapel Hill or at colleges and universities in your home community. Many schools, including UNC at Chapel Hill, offer online courses and nontraditional scheduling options for on-campus study. UNC at Chapel Hill's own Friday Center for Continuing Education offers many courses for credit that may be of value to prospective students.
You will avoid wasted time and frustration by insuring that the courses you choose at colleges and universities other than UNC at Chapel Hill are courses you need to meet the lower division requirements. The UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduate admission transfer equivalencies page provides information about equivalent courses at many colleges and universities.
