Why You Should Come
- We have ranked among the top five Schools
of Nursing with NIH research funding for the
past 7 years. A diversity of faculty grants provide
hands-on training opportunities for fellows.
- We are part of a cutting-edge research-intensive
university. The University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill School of Nursing (SON) provides
a wonderfully rich and diverse environment within
which to conduct research.
- The SON is part of a strong health science
division including public health, pharmacy,
medicine, and dentistry which are all located
on the main campus of the University.
- The University is home to 71 interdisciplinary
research centers, institutes, and initiatives that
bring faculty together across campus to collaborative
research-focused areas.
- SON faculty, doctoral, and postdoctoral fellows
are very active members
of many of these centers.
