Research Projects

Research at the School of Nursing attracts national attention and support for its ongoing high quality and innovation. The School ranks 4th among all schools of nursing in research support from the National Institutes of Health.

Faculty are known for their strong programs of research on the prevention and management of chronic illness with particular emphasis on children and the elderly, minority populations, and those living in poverty or rural areas.

The research done at the School of Nursing serves a most important purpose of improving the quality of life of the citizens of the state.
