The new addition to the School of Nursing is the first building in the 16-campus UNC System with a pending Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The new environmentally friendly building is part of the University's master plan to adopt more sustainable policies and practices.
The new building is designed to create a better and more productive working environment for its occupants.
