The International Association for Human Caring Conference focuses on human carrying through research, education, and practice in the health-care area. Our international attendees bring a wealth of knowledge related to health and well-being, alternative and complementary therapies, as well as enlightening the human spirit. New models of healthcare are explored as well as improving patient outcomes for a healthier society.
Our principal goal is to identify major philosophical, epistemological, and professional dimensions of care and caring to advance the body of knowledge that constitutes nursing and to help other disciplines use care and caring knowledge and human relationships.
This year the focus of the conference is to:
- Explore the nature of caring with in a global context.
- Identify the role of caring within practice, education, research, and administration.
- Promote analytical dialogue within the framework of caring.
- Discuss critical research findings within the caring/healing frameworks.
This conference will address international and domestic issues related to carrying and healing practices. It is open to anyone interested in the caring spirit of humankind.
