Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training
Adult and adolescent patients presenting to emergency departments for concerns of sexual abuse/assault are common. Care for this patient population requires specialized training for medical and nursing providers. The Adult Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training provides a strong foundation for nurses to acquire the needed knowledge and skills in providing this specialized care to a vulnerable patient population.
