  • From Ideas to Publication! The Process of Writing Journal Manuscripts and Books
    8:30 AM-3:30 PM, The Friday Center
    A continuing education course from the Center for Lifelong Learning for RNs and other interested health professionals. This workshop examines the process of writing journal manuscripts beginning with your idea through the submission of your paper, responding to peer reviews, and publication of the manuscript. Please note that the workshop will focus on nursing journals and publications. More details on the curriculum and cost of attendance available on the course webpage.

    Get to know your fellow students through the Association of Nursing Students (ANS). Bring your lunch and learn about community service opportunities such as the ANS Red Cross Blood Drive and the Heels for Healing 5K.

    This seminar will explain the benefits of pursuing graduate education in nursing, how to determine which graduate program best fits your goals, and how you can prepare to apply. Speakers will include SON leaders, current, and former students. Come learn whether graduate education is the right option for you.

    A continuing education course from the Center for Lifelong Learning for nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. In this course, you will learn the most up-to-date clinical cardiovascular guidelines, including best practices for hypertension management, smoking cessation, heart failure, and more.
