Beerstecher-Blackwell Distinguished Term Professor Dr. Diane Berry has been appointed the new role of assistant dean for research for the School of Nursing.

In this role, Diane will work closely with Associate Dean for Research Ruth Anderson to administer, support and stimulate the research activities of the school’s faculty and to further our research mission.

“We are delighted that the recent growth and expansion of our research enterprise necessitates this addition to our Administration, and so pleased to be able to draw on Diane’s talent and leadership as we establish this important role,” said Nena Peragallo Montano, dean of the UNC School of Nursing.
