Carolina Nursing is delighted to announce that Associate Professor Coretta Jenerette, PhD, RN, CNE, FAAN has been named one of five Macy Faculty Scholars for 2018!

This year’s Macy Faculty Scholars were selected from a national applicant pool of 85 talented medical and nursing educators. According to George Thibault, MD, president of the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, Dr. Jenerette was chosen for her “accomplishments to date and future promise as an educational leader and mentor.”

As a Macy Faculty Scholar, Coretta will be able to spend at least 50% of her time pursuing her mentored educational innovation project and engaging in other development opportunities to enhance her career as an educator.

She joins Dr. Cheryl Giscombe (2015) and Dr. Meg Zomorodi (2014) as the newest member of the Carolina Nursing faculty to have received this singular acknowledgment.

Hats off to you, Coretta!
