Sandra Hoffman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. She holds a BA degree in English from Northern Illinois University, a BSN from Nazareth College, and an MSN with a focus in geriatric health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has extensive experience working with older adults in diverse care settings – acute care, home health, and long term care. She has held a number of practice and academic roles prior to joining the School including Clinical Nurse Specialist at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and Clinical Instructor at Texas Woman’s University. Her primary interests are in improving the care of older adults, and developing narrative learning strategies for nursing students.
