Distance-Based Graduate Programs

Part- and full-time MSN, DNP, and post-graduate certificate degree options designed for working nursing professionals from the top-ranked UNC School of Nursing.

Advance your nursing career while balancing work and life responsibilities

Designed for working nursing professionals, our distance-based and online graduate programs offer the flexibility, faculty support and tailored clinical placements you need to take the next step in your nursing career.

While these programs are primarily online, we believe in the importance of hands-on experience and community engagement. Therefore, many of the UNC School of Nursing’s MSN and DNP programs require on-campus immersion experiences, during which you will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty, engage in classroom-based instruction, network with peers, and immerse yourself in hands-on, practical learning activities that enhance your skills and knowledge.

Explore the options below to learn more about the curriculum and requirements for each.
