Carolina Blue

The Carolina Blue Project aims to learn more about work-related stress, eating behaviors, and cardiovascular disease risk factors among North Carolina law enforcement officers.

Police officers in the United States have the highest cardiovascular disease mortality rate of all occupations. There are, however, limited studies on the cardiovascular health of North Carolina law enforcement officers. Therefore, our goal is to identify the factors contributing to poor health trends in North Carolina law enforcement officers and to improve their health and well-being.
