Chatham County Public Health Department provides a range of clinical services to help keep community members healthy, from immunizations to nutrition counseling. Reproductive and sexual health are at the core of these clinical and community health efforts. The department provides STI screenings, maternity care and family planning services.
Clinical assistant professor Rachel McInerney works as a family nurse practitioner in the health department. She uses her current clinical experience to teach students current best practices.
