The Consortium for Cancer Implementation Science (CCIS) is a national network that brings together researchers and community practitioners to accelerate the translation of cancer implementation science research into practice. Since 2019, CCIS has supported Action Groups that develop publicly available tools and resources and has convened an annual meeting to advance collaboration and shared learning. This project supports the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the CCIS Coordinating Center, providing scientific leadership, coordination, and dissemination to strengthen Action Groups, expand network engagement, and lead the CCIS Annual Meeting. The long-term goal is to reduce the cancer burden by improving the implementation and spread of evidence-based cancer prevention and control strategies in real-world settings.
