The School of Nursing Alumni Association has four alumni awards and one honorary alumni award to recognize and celebrate our alumni and friends and their outstanding contributions to our School, the field of nursing and our communities. All awards are not necessarily given annually, and the Alumni Association may elect not to give out an award for any given year if there are no nominations.

Honorary Alumna/us Award
Awarded to a professional who possesses distinction in the nursing profession and has demonstrated outstanding support to the School of Nursing. This person is a non-graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing.
The School of Nursing is accepting nominations for awards to be presented each year. Please nominate that colleague or friend who has meant much to the profession and to the School of Nursing. A member of the awards committee may contact you for additional information.
Please note: If you would like to nominate for multiple awards, you will need to submit the form once for each nomination.
Recipients will be recognized at a special award ceremony to be held on campus on (TBD). Please help us identify and acknowledge these exceptional nurses within our alumni community.
Many thanks to you for your feedback and participation. We are sincerely grateful for all the ways you support Carolina nursing!
