Preparing Carolina Nursing Students for their careers in nursing.
The School of Nursing Undergraduate Student Council and Alumni Association are pleased to present the 2024-25 Get Hired! Series. All events will be held in person on the UNC Chapel Hill campus.
Alumni Volunteers
We are looking for alumni to share their experiences and expertise with our students to prepare them for their nursing careers. Please read below for more information about current alumni volunteer opportunities.
Career Fair

Employers will have the opportunity to talk with current nursing students about their organizations and recruit Carolina Nursing talent. If you would like to have your organization participate in the Career Fair, please email sonevents@unc.edu for more information.
Resume Building & Interview Etiquette Workshops

Students will hear from a panel of nurses, attend faculty-led workshops on resume building and interview etiquette, and have the opportunity to receive individual feedback on their resumes.
Mock Interview Workshops
Fall 2025 Date TBD
We are looking for alumni to provide an interview experience and feedback to prepare Carolina Nursing students for their job searches. The workshop aims to simulate the interview process with a 20-minute mock interview followed by 15 minutes of feedback and discussion.
Mentor Mixer
February 15, 2025, 9:30am – 12pm
The Mentor Mixer is a time for Carolina Nursing students to connect with alumni and explore different professional avenues. We are looking for alumni who work in a variety of nursing specialties to talk to students one on one and in small groups. A light breakfast and coffee will be provided.
