Why did you choose nursing?
I chose the field of nursing because I wanted my career to have meaning that I never had to reach too far to find. Nursing is a singularly fulfilling profession that affords the opportunity to directly observe the fruits of your labor and see the lives of your patients improve as a result of your care and compassion. In addition, I have a deep passion for physiology, anatomy, pathology and pharmacology, and excel in situations that require a combination of physical skills and critical thinking. From my first clinical shift, I have known that nursing was perfect for me!
