I don’t have adequate words for all that Lily has done for OSA since the move process begin in late spring. She has taken the lead on all aspects of the move from cleaning out and packing to thinking about how we stay connected to students. However, it is her leadership with the Scanning project that has been transformative. This was a massive job, and she has ensured it would be a success even when it didn’t seem the project was feasible in the move timeline. As a result of her leadership, we will soon have all records scanned and prepared for storage and/or shredding. In one summer and fall, she will have moved us into the 21st century.

I’ve taught the Undergraduate Research course with Maureen for several years now. In addition to always being full of energy and ideas, Maureen is always so positive and supportive of students. She does little things like incorporating wellness checks into weekly attendance surveys, chatting with students informally at every opportunity, returning detailed feedback very quickly for student assignments and always offering to meet one on one with anyone who could use additional guidance. She is a great role model for all of us!

Each time, Lisa and Phillip assisted me with a calm and confident attitude and provided immediate help so I, my team, and my research participants could still get into the BBL. Mathew has been extremely helpful in ensuring all my research projects can still run smoothly, including all research visits at BBL or local communities. Steven spent a lot of time ensuring that the ITS Manning teaching room could handle all PhD students’ computer usage. Thank you all for making this transition as painless as possible.
