Neurotoxins treatment areas reviewed in this program include:
- upper face (glabellar, frontalis, nasalis, orbicularis oculi)
- lower face (orbicularis oris, DAOs, mentalis, masseters, platysma)
- traps
- hyperhydrosis
Please complete the following form as part of your course registration. Please note: lectures are all completed virtually via Zoom and/or on-demand via pre-recorded lectures prior to the in-person hands-on trainings; hands-on trainings take place at UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing in Chapel Hill, NC. Registrants that participate in both the lectures and hands-on training will receive 5 ANCC contact hours. Lectures are required prior to attendance on 10.28.2026, and failure to do so will result in an incomplete program. Active / valid licensure requirement to attend, and target audience includes registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and other advanced practice clinicians seeking to expand their competencies in clinical aesthetic injection practices. - Live Online Lecture or Pre-Recorded Asynchronous lectures: Foundational knowledge with demonstration videos.
- In-Person Training (UNC School of Nursing): Small group instruction and guided practice.

- Monday, 10.19.2026, 5p-8p: Introduction to Neurotoxins (upper face)
- Wednesday, 10.21.2026, 5p-8p: Advanced Neurotoxins (lower face, Nefertiti, traps, hyperhydrosis)
In-Person, Hands-on training (required): UNC Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, North Carolina
- Wednesday, 10.28.2026, 8a-1p: Hands-on training for Neurotoxins and HA Dermal Fillers
This course is designed to enhance clinical knowledge and skills in advanced practice aesthetic nursing. Participants will:
- Review anatomy and physiology, treatment indications, contraindications, and evidence-based safety guidelines.
- Attend a live, online lecture session featuring injection demonstration videos by Inject With Lex Nurse Practitioners.
- Participate in an in-person, hands-on training session, with small group instruction and supervised injection practice led by experienced aesthetic practitioners.
By combining theoretical knowledge with applied skill-building, learners will leave with increased confidence and competence in safe, evidence-based injection practices.
