Australia Catholic University Melbourne Campus is located in the heart of beautiful and cosmopolitan Melbourne, close to cafes, shops, city parks, and museums. Melbourne is a multicultural city that sits on the coastline of Port Phillip bay. The campus itself is a mix of historic and modern buildings, and easily accessible using the city tram and train.
What Students Do
Students will have tours of the university and nearby health clinic for the Indigenous people of Australia. Clinical experiences are in adult health acute care settings, and possible opportunities for shadow experiences in maternal/infant, pediatric, and peri-operative settings as well. There are rich opportunities for sight-seeing and tours in Melbourne and surrounding areas.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about health care and the Australian culture. Remember that the seasons are opposite to those in the U.S, so a July/August experience in Melbourne is their wintertime!
