Alexander Appointed Special Assistant to the Chancellor

Congratulations to Rumay Alexander, Ed, RN, FAAN, on her appointment to the role of Special Assistant to the Chancellor, effective January 1, 2016. In this capacity, Dr. Alexander will design and coordinate campus-wide community enrichment initiatives and other special projects as needed.

Dr. Alexander will maintain her roles as professor and director of multicultural affairs at the School of Nursing and as diversity champion to the schools of pharmacy and dentistry.

“We are proud that Rumay is viewed as such an important resource to the University and we are grateful to have her as a member of our School,” said Donna Havens, Interim Dean, of the appointment.
