Dr. Letha Joseph (MSN ’13, DNP ’17) has been selected as a 2022 Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. This honor is awarded to nurse practitioners who have contributed to the improvement of health care and the role of nurse practitioners with a goal of enhancing NP leadership nationally and globally. Dr. Joseph has shown outstanding leadership as a nurse practitioner in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham and is a geriatric and extended care expert. She is an active member of the North Carolina Nurses Association and the National Indian Nurses Association of American. Dr. Joseph will be formally inducted at the 2022 FAANP Induction Ceremony in Orlando, Florida in June.
