Sincere congratulations to Associate Dean for Research, Ruth Anderson, PhD, RN, FAAN, who was named a Kenan Distinguished Professor on July 1.
“A distinguished professorship is one of the most prestigious and visible honors that the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill can bestow upon a member of the faculty, and it is a symbol of the value your colleagues have placed on your research and scholarship” said James W. Dean, Jr., Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost of the University in notifying Dr. Anderson of the honor.
“We are delighted for Ruth and very proud,” added Nena Peragallo Montano, dean of the School of Nursing. “This is a great and well-deserved achievement for her and brings great credit to the School, as well.”
Congratulations again, Ruth!
