Baernholdt and Bryant publish chapter in Nurses Making Policy with colleague contributions

Drs. Marianne Baenrholdt and Ashley Leak Bryant have contributed “Implementing the Plan,” a chapter in the 2022 edition of Nurses Making Policy. From Bedside to Boardroom. Proceeds from this book support a nurse internship in the White House.
The chapter also incorporates case studies from other SON faculty and collaborators:

Dr. Cheryl Smith-Miller and Dr. Nancy Havill (UNC Medical Center) – Work-related fatigue: Evidence-based policy development in a healthcare system
Dr. Angelo Moore (SON PhD ’10) – Addressing health equity in the community
