Bev Foster appointed consultant for NLN 2023 Leadership Institute

Professor Emerita Bev Foster, MN, MPH, PhD, RN, has been appointed as a consultant for the National League for Nursing (NLN) and their 2023 Leadership Institute (LEAD). Dedicated to excellence in nursing, the NLN is the premier organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education.

Foster’s role in the year-long LEAD program will be to work alongside other faculty members to enhance the leadership skills of emerging and aspiring nurses. The program is designed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to excel in leadership positions within the nursing profession.

Foster, who retired from Carolina Nursing in 2021 after a distinguished career in nursing education, is a recognized leader in the field of nursing. Her appointment as a consultant for the program is a testament to her expertise and her commitment to preparing the next generation of nurse leaders, and her contributions to the LEAD program are sure to be invaluable.
