Carolina ranks among top ten master’s nursing programs in US

Today, U.S. News & World Report published its rankings for 2023, and Carolina Nursing is ranked eighth among all master’s nursing programs in the country.

The UNC School of Nursing’s graduate programs have consistently ranked in the top ten for four years in a row. While these rankings are only a small measure of our achievements, they reflect our commitment to providing a top-tier nursing education and preparing exceptional nurse leaders who advance health care and improve lives.

Overall: tied for 8th
Nursing Administration: tied for 6th
Family Nurse Practitioner: 4th
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner: 3rd
Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner: tied for 6th

DNP

Overall: 14th
Nursing Administration: 3rd 
Nursing Leadership: 4th
Family Nurse Practitioner: tied for 6th
