Carolina Nursing Hillman Scholars receive Hillman Travel and Bridge Awards

Four Hillman Scholars at the UNC School of Nursing have been awarded Hillman Travel and Bridge grants in support of their research projects aimed at advancing health care and nursing science.
Taleah Frazier received the Hillman Bridge Grant for her project, Bridge Funding to Advance Reproductive-Aged African American Women’s Cardiometabolic Health.
Anna Matthews was awarded the Hillman Travel Grant for her project titled Migraine and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: A Scoping Review.
Laika Maganga received a Hillman Travel Grant for Exploring Perceptions and Experiences of Stigma: Groundwork for a Stigma Reduction Intervention for Young Malawian Women Living with HIV.
Gabrielle Grant was also awarded a Hillman Travel Grant for From Foundations to Innovation: Cultivating Independent Inquiry.
