Davis appointed chair elect for an American College of Cardiology steering committee

Associate Professor Leslie Davis, PhD, RN, ANP-BC, FAANP, FACC, FAHA, FPCNA, has been appointed chair elect for the American College of Cardiology National Cardiovascular Data Chest Pain/MI Registry Steering Committee effective April 1, 2023.

This registry is the most comprehensive and authoritative quality improvement program for patients with acute myocardial infarction and encompasses acute coronary syndromes, including low-risk chest pain, and unstable angina. The registry has recorded a remarkable 2 million patients since its inception 16 years ago.

Dr. Davis, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, is the first nurse leader to be appointed as Chair Elect (and Chair) of this registry. Her appointment is well deserved, and she is well placed to assume this leadership role. Dr. Davis will take on the role of chair in April of 2024.
