Deborah Mayer featured on ‘That Cancer Show’ that airs Sunday May 24

Deborah Mayer, PhD, RN, AOCN, FAAN, was a featured guest on Cornucopia’s ‘That Cancer Show,’ a radio show that provides the Triangle and Triad communities with insights about the latest advancements and challenges patients, survivors, and caregivers face.

Dr. Mayer, School of Nursing professor and director of cancer survivorship at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and oncology nurse Jean Sellers discussed surviving and thriving in cancer survivorship. Sellers is also the administrative clinical director of the UNC Cancer Network and president of the new North Carolina Oncology Navigator Association.

The show will air Sunday, May 24 from 8 to 9 pm on WPTF 680 AM in Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill and WSJS 600 AM in the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point area this. The show also live-streams online at www.wptf.com (click on the 680 AM Listen Live button).
