The DNP degree program at the SON was highlighted in a story on News 14 Carolina. The story aired during the noon broadcast on November 27, 2013.

Associate Professor and Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program Debra Barksdale, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, ANP-BC, CNE, FAANP, FAAN, was featured in the story along with NCNA President and assistant clinical professor, Megan Williams, MSN, RN, FNP.
