Donna Havens to Join AAN Expert Panel

Dr. Donna S. Havens, PhD, RN, FAAN has been appointed to serve on the Building Health Care System Excellence panel for the American Academy of Nursing (AAN). The panel will focus on gathering, disseminating, and translating evidence about the unique contributions nurse’s make to achieving value-based healthcare.

Dr. Havens will succeed Dr. Gail Wolfe, DNS, RN, FAAN, from the University of Pittsburgh as co-chair of the panel in October 2013 and will assume the role of chair in October 2014.
