Dr. Stone recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics for pediatric patient safety advocacy

UNC SON Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Elizabeth Stone was interviewed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) regarding her work on behalf of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to advocate for weighing in kilograms only. Dr. Stone is lead author of an AAP-endorsed position statement on the importance of metric weights for all patients, and also serves as the ENA liason to the AAP Committee on Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
