Hillman Scholars Harry Adynski BSN, RN (PhD Student) and Gillian Adynski PhD, RN (Alumna) were featured in this month’s edition of American Fencing Magazine for their work as frontline healthcare workers and researchers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Both Harry and Gillian were Division 1 fencers during their undergraduate studies at Carolina and discuss the challenges of working during the pandemic and how athletics impact their clinical work. Gillian remains an assistant coach for the UNC-CH fencing team.
