Hillman Scholars focus on leadership in UNC SOM quality and safety program

Three Carolina Nursing PhD students are participating in The¬†Clinician Leadership in Quality and Safety Scholarly Concentration at the Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement at the UNC School of Medicine. Hillman Scholars Liz Finnessy, Gabrielle Grant and Alyson Helms are each participating in the mentored program, which is designed to “build quality improvement and leadership skills of future clinicians and nurse researchers. These skills are developed around the science of improving access, cost, effectiveness, equity, and safety in patient care.”
