McInerney awarded AHEC 2021-2022 Clinical Site Development Grant

The NC AHEC Program is dedicated to allocating funds to eligible schools of nursing within the community colleges and the constituent institutions of UNC to develop new clinical training sites for nursing students. An increase in number of quality clinical training sites works to increase the capability to increase student enrollments, helping to meet the IOMs Task Force on the North Carolina Nursing Workforce recommendation. For the 2021-2022 academic year, UNC-CH was chosen as a recipient of this award. McInerney will work to develop a new public health clinical site in Wake County.
