Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Lifelong Learning Betty Nance-Floyd, PhD, RN, CNE, CNL, spoke on a HRSA panel for National Nurses Week.
The “Promoting Balance, Strength, and Wellness in the Health Workforce” panel featured Anne Belcher, MN, PhD, (BSN ’67) from Johns Hopkins University delivering the keynote on the therapeutic value of resiliency in the health workforce. Chief Medical Officer of the Bureau of Primary Health Care Judith Steinberg, MD, MPH, and Senior Advisor in the Division of Medicine and Dentistry for the Bureau of Health Workforce Kennita R. Carter, MD, joined Nance-Floyd for a panel discussion following the keynote.
