Megan Ross, MSN, RNC-MNN, clinical instructor at the UNC School of Nursing, has been awarded the NLN Nursing Education Scholarship Award for $7,000.
The NLN Foundation for Nursing Education awards scholarships of up to $8,000 each year to nurses pursuing advanced degrees to advance their careers as full-time nurse educators. Awardees are recognized at the NLN Summit each fall.
Ross is in the fifth year of her EdD in Nursing Education program at the University of West Georgia. Her research explores how prelicensure nursing students who speak English as an additional language perceive interprofessional education activities.
“I am incredibly grateful for this award and the support it has provided, and will continue to provide, as I work toward completing my dissertation and EdD,” Ross said. “It is a true honor to receive this recognition at the upcoming NLN Summit, surrounded by so many passionate and accomplished nurse educators.”
