You could barely turn a page without seeing Carolina alumni and faculty represented in the latest edition of the NCNA’s Tar Heel Nurse.
A few highlights include:
- A photo of assistant professors Carrie Palmer, BSN ’00, MSN ’04 and Jean Ann Davison, MSN ’00 for completing the NCNA Leadership Academy and presenting on the Benefits of Legislative Advocacy
- An article by Dr. Davison entitled Hypertension self-management support in primary care: A DNP Quality Improvement Project and a charge for leadership and advocacy with the Million Hearts.
- Our colleague at UNC Health Care (and newly elected Vice President of the ANA), Dr. Ernest Grant on the cover
- A president’s message from SON assistant professor Megan Williams
