A research article authored by Dr. George Knafl, PhD, Dr. Linda Beeber, PhD, RN, CS, and Dr. Todd Schwartz, DrPH, has been selected as the Best Research Methods Article of 2012 published in the journal Research and Nursing in Health.
Members of the journal’s editorial board choose one methods article and one research report each year to recognize. The article, “A Strategy for Selecting Among Alternative Models for Continuous Longitudinal Data” provides guidance for selecting the best statistical models for analyzing longitudinal datasets, which include measurements collected from the same study subjects at multiple points in time.
