This is a CaBB sponsored event open to all students considering nursing as a career path, current nursing students who are not familiar with the CaBB program, and students already involved in the CaBB program. Come out and learn more about how stereotyping, marginalization, and discriminatory perspectives hurt everyone (regardless of background), and how these issues affect nursing students, nursing professionals, and the care that nurses provide.

This year’s Leadership Conference will focus on skills-building to empower nurses at all stages of the career trajectory to motivate, inspire and organize teams to meet the challenges of healthcare’s future. Our outstanding line-up of speakers will teach leadership behaviors and coach you to optimal practice based on a personalized inventory of your leadership skill set. You will practice difficult conversations with a partner and learn recipes for handling conflict. You will leave better prepared to create and maintain a budget, use data to garner support for resources, conduct a personal self-assessment, and manage your time to create a balanced career and personal life.
