Wu’s research findings featured on The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation

Dr. Grace Wu (first author) and the UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders’ research findings were featured on The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. This world-known foundation focuses on awarding grants that will lead to advances and breakthroughs in scientific research for mental illness. Since 1978, the foundation has awarded more than $430 million to fund more than 6,200 grants worldwide.
Dr. Wu and her team examined changes in levels of stress and appetite hormones in women recovering from anorexia nervosa (AN). They reported that it might be possible to predict certain serious post-treatment risks that jeopardize recovery. The whole report can be found here.
