
Jessica Zègre-Hemsey, PhD, RN, FAHA, Associate Professor at the UNC School of Nursing, has been accepted into the National Academies of Practice (NAP) as a PhD nurse scientist, clinician, and faculty member. NAP is the only interprofessional organization of healthcare practitioners and scholars dedicated to supporting affordable, accessible, coordinated, quality healthcare for all.
Dr. Zègre-Hemsey will join the Class of 2025, a distinguished cohort of practitioners and scholars elected by peers across health professions. The honor recognizes her achievements in nursing and interprofessional care.
“I am honored to be recognized for my interdisciplinary program of research in emergency cardiac care that has been directly informed by my clinical practice,” said Zègre-Hemsey.
Members of the Class of 2025 will be formally inducted at the NAP Annual Meeting and Forum in Washington, D.C., during an Induction Banquet and Awards Ceremony.
